Appointments line (0208 845 7100)
The appointments line is open 08:00 - 18:30 for patients or carers to ring and book an appointment.
Routine appointments
We operate an advance booking system for routine appointments.
Please inform reception if you suspect an infectious disease, as this will enable us to arrange isolation for you during your visit to protect you and other susceptible patients.
Emergency Appointments
In the event of a sudden onset of illness, you can request an emergency appointment. You will be offered either a telephone consultation or an appointment with a Pharmacist or Emergency Doctor, depending on the seriousness of your condition. We are unable to offer specific appointment times as these appointments are allocated in strict order of the request being received. As a general guide someone who needs to be seen urgently is not well enough to go to school or work.
PLEASE NOTE - we do not operate a walk in service.
The Minor Injuries Unit at Mount Vernon Hospital is open from 09:00 to 20:00 every day. Please see the Out of Hours page for more details.
Interpreting Service
If you require an interpreter for your appointment with the doctor, nurse or pharmacist please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment. This service is provided by telephone, must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.
Telephone Consultations
The nurses and doctors are available for telephone consultations. Please ring reception (020 8845 7100) in advance to book your telephone consultation appointment. Reception will arrange an approximate time for the doctor/nurse to call you. This advance notification helps reception to schedule the calls and ensure the clinician has the appropriate clinical records to hand during the consultations.
Please ensure that you update us with any change in your telephone numbers.
Please Cancel an Appointment if You No Longer Need it
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone us to enable us to offer this appointment to someone else.
Cancelling unwanted consultations allows us to offer the appointment to someone else. Your help and early notification of a cancellation will help us to reduce unnecessary delay for other patients wishing to see the doctor.
We operate a strict policy on patients who fail to attend appointments without good reason and after appropriate warning patients can be removed from our surgery.
